Are you open all year?
Our Luxury Lodges & Caravans and Touring and Camping closes during the winter. We are a seasonal park open from mid-March until the end of October
The Lookout Tower is open all year round

How do I book?
To check our availability & book online for all our accommodation & camping click on the “Book online” tab at the top of this page

Do you have a price list for next year?
This is normally available on our website from mid-November onwards

Can we get groceries delivered to our accommodation during our stay?
Yes you can. Please ensure your delivery slot is arranged for after your check in and the delivery driver knows the number/name of your accommodation

What is the smoking policy on the park and in your accommodation?
Our smoking policy means that smoking and the use of e-cigarettes is not permitted inside any of our buildings including your accommodation

How far are you from the village and beach?
The village of Beer & beach is less than a 10-minute walk down the hill

Do you have WIFI on your park?
Yes, our WIFI is managed by a separate company & is very easy to purchase from your device/phone
You will find more information regarding WIFI in your welcome folder inside your accommodation

Is there a shop on site?
Yes, our park has a small shop, ideal for those everyday essentials

What do I need to bring on my holiday?
You will need to bring bed linen (sheets, duvet covers and pillow covers) and your own towels
There is a large Tesco approx. a 10-minute drive from the park

Do you offer last minute breaks?
We may sometimes offer last minute deals which can be found on our Facebook page

Do you get good phone signal on the park?
We cannot always guarantee good phone signal as this is due to the rural location of the park. Signal strength does vary depending on your operator but overall most guests are pleasantly surprised

Do you have a laundrette?
Yes, we have a coin operated launderette including dryers & irons which is open 24hrs, 7 days a week

Who should I contact if I have a problem whilst on the holiday park?
If a problem does occur whilst on the park, visit our Reception where a member of staff will be able to assist you

Can I pay for my holiday by instalments?
Yes you can, either phone us or click on the secure link on your booking email

When is my balance due?
You will receive an email reminder a week before you are due to arrive
There will be a secure link on the email for you to click and pay online

What is your cancellation policy?
Should you cancel your booking then your deposit may be transferred to a future booking at the discretion of management. Should you cancel your booking up to 2 weeks prior to your holiday, your deposit will not be returned

Can I bring my drone with me and use it on the park?
As we are a quiet peaceful park and to protect the privacy of others relaxing on holiday, drones are not permitted on or around the area of the caravan park

How close are you to the main transport links?
The nearest bus stop is in the town centre of Beer only a ten minute walk away
The nearest train station is in Axminster approx. 7 miles away. We also have local taxi companies

Are there any pubs and restaurants in the area?
We have a handful of pubs and restaurants in the village of Beer only a short walk away

Do you offer holiday insurance?
No, we recommend guests take out their own travel insurance independently

Is there a cash point nearby?
The nearest cash machine is in the village of Beer inside the Post Office or inside the Dolphin pub

Where is the nearest supermarket?
There is a large Tesco supermarket in Seaton approx. 3 miles away

Accommodation

What is included in the cost of my holiday?
When you book directly with us, gas and electricity is included with no hidden costs when you arrive

What does the number of berths mean?
A 4 berth caravan consists of one double bedroom and one twin bedroom which will sleep 4 guests
A standard and deluxe 6 berth caravan (sleeps 6) consists of one double bedroom, one twin bedroom and a double pull out sofa bed or a blow up double bed in the lounge
An 8 berth caravan and lodge (sleeps 8) consists of one double bedroom and two twin bedrooms with a double sofa bed or a blow up double bed in the lounge

Is the accommodation heated?
All our caravans and lodges have central heating throughout and double glazing

How old will my caravan be?
Your caravan will be less than 5 years old

Can I hire your duvets, pillows or bed linen?
Unfortunately we don’t offer linen hire or duvets and pillows, and we ask guests to bring their own for all the required amount they will need

Will I have a sea view?
All our accommodation has a sea view

Do you have a minimum number of nights I can stay for?
Yes, we offer a minimum of 3 nights stay in our accommodation but keep to weekly bookings only during the school holidays

What time can I check into my accommodation?
Your key will be ready to collect at Reception from 4pm
If you are arriving later than 6pm please let us know in advance so we can arrange key collection

What time do I have to check out?
We ask you to vacate your accommodation no later than 10:30am on your departure day. You will find a key drop off box outside Reception

What wheelchair friendly accommodation do you have?
We offer a pet friendly 6 berth wheelchair accessible caravan complete with a wet room suitable for holidaymakers with wheelchair needs or mobility difficulties

Can I park outside my holiday home?
We cannot guarantee parking directly outside your accommodation and we do not have any designated parking bays. However, in most cases you should be able to park near your caravan
We strongly advise you take great care when driving / parking on the grass when it is extremely wet.

Can I add extra guests to my booking?
Yes, you can add more guests to your booking if the maximum capacity of your holiday home is not exceeded. There is no need for you to tell us how many guests in total will be in your accommodation

Can I hire a travel cot or a highchair?
Yes, we don’t charge any extra to hire out one of our highchairs or travel cot. They can be added on when making your booking (subject to availability)

Is there outside seating at my holiday home?
Your accommodation will have outside furniture which will include a large picnic table and freestanding chairs
Our lodges and deluxe caravans also have a parasol

Are we allowed to have a BBQ?
Of course, but please keep it a little distance away from your accommodation
Our lodges have a built in BBQ for you to use

Pets

Can I take my dog with me to the holiday home?
Of course, we are a dog friendly park with plenty of dogs walking areas along the coast path. We have pet friendly accommodation which is identical and to the same specification as non pet caravans / lodges

Can I take my dog with me to The Lookout Tower?
Regrettably, no pets are allowed in The Lookout Tower.

How much is it to bring dogs with us?
To bring your dog a supplement of £3 per night, per dog is required. We do not charge for registered assistance dogs

Can pets be left unattended in the holiday home?
Dogs should never be left unattended in your accommodation and we also ask you to use a blanket/cover if they use the sitting area

Can I take my dog onto Beer beach?
From the 1st May to 30th September all dogs are banned from some sections of the beach
We do have plenty of dog walking areas and fields along the coast path next to our park

Camping

Do you have a minimum number of nights stay?
No, not even during the school holidays and bank holidays

What is included in the price of my pitch?
Included in the price of your pitch is electric, hot power showers and a wonderful sea view

Are we allowed to have a BBQ?
Of course, a lot of guests use disposable BBQ’s but please keep it raised off the ground

Can I use a gazebo on my pitch?
You may be able to bring a gazebo to your pitch at no extra cost, dependant on your pitch size  Please check the measurements first.

Do you have electric pitches?
Yes, all our pitches have electric hook up at no extra cost to use

Can I bring my pet on the touring & camping area?
Yes you can at no extra charge. We do ask that they are always kept on a lead at all times

Can I park the car next to my tent?
You won’t be able to park your car next to your pitch due to the pitches being tiered. Please look at our camping map where you will be able to see our tent pitches and parking bays

What time is our pitch available from?
You can arrive on your pitch any time from midday onwards

What time do I have to vacate my pitch on my departure day?
We ask you to vacate your pitch no later than 11am

Do you accept all male & female parties?
Yes we do but please bear in mind we are a very quiet park and as per our terms and conditions we ask you to keep noise down to a minimum between the hours of 10pm to 8am

Will I be next to my friends or relatives?
We cannot always guarantee this, but you will be able to choose your pitch online. If you are booking more than one pitch, please book all your pitches separately. You will then be able to choose the pitches you would like (subject to availability)

When is my balance due?
Your balance is due a week before you arrive, which can be made on the secure email link.
You will receive an email reminder before your arrival date

Do you offer seasonal pitches?
Due to limited space we don’t offer seasonal pitches for Touring Caravans/Motorhomes

The Lookout Tower

Can I drive to The Lookout Tower?
Yes, you can drive to The Lookout Tower, and parking is available on site, including an EV charger. You are holidaying in a remote rural location on a working farm, there will be sheep and cows roaming around, the track out to the cliff is rough. Just pop EX12 3AQ into your satellite navigation.

Can I take my dog with me to The Lookout Tower?
Regrettably, no pets are allowed in The Lookout Tower.

How many people can The Lookout Tower sleep?
2 Double Bedrooms (one bedroom convertible to a twin) with beds made up on arrival to sleep 4. There is also a pull-out occasional bed if you would like a guest to pop over and visit.

Is Wifi available?
WiFi is currently a 4G data SIM, so reliability drops at peak usage times. The national fibre network is due to be laid in 2022 so we hope to have improved WiFi soon.

Bistro

Do I need to book a table in your Bistro?
Our Bistro is very popular, and booking is advisable especially during the weekends.

Can I bring my dog inside the Bistro?
We do have a section inside where you are able to bring your dog

Can I take food/snacks/drinks away?
Yes, we offer a selection of food which can be taken away from home made pizzas to fish & chips

Can I just have a coffee a slice of cake?
Of course, we offer light snacks throughout the day

Do you offer daily specials?
Yes, we do. Our specials board is updated with our chef’s recommendations

I have a food intolerance will you be able to accommodate me?
It’s not a problem at all, please speak to a member of our Bistro staff before placing an order and they will be more than happy to help

Can I just sit outside with a glass of wine and read my book?
Yes you can. You don’t need to order any food to enjoy an alcoholic drink

We are celebrating a special occasion. Will your Bistro help us to make it extra special?
Of course, we will help in any way we can by decorating the table, make a cake or just sing Happy Birthday, just let our Bistro staff know in advance


Caravan Sales

Do you have any caravans for sale?
All our caravan sales are done during the winter when the park is closed

Is buying a holiday home a good investment?
Buying a holiday home isn’t considered a financial investment. We always advise customers that it is more of a lifestyle choice to relax and enjoy time with family and friends. Holiday homes do depreciate with age at much the same rate as cars

Can I buy a 2nd hand caravan?
We only sell brand new caravans to new owners and it is extremely rare a 2nd hand caravan becomes available

Do I have to change my caravan after a certain amount of years?
No, we have no age limit for your caravan all we ask is that you keep it well maintained

Can I let my caravan out to other people?
Of course, you can let your caravan out to family, friends and holidaymakers.  We can sometimes offer to sublet your caravan alongside our fleet for only 25% commission

When can I buy a new caravan?
The first stage is to pop it in writing to show your interest so we can add you to our sales waiting list. We ask for an informal letter or email (office@beer-head.com) stating you would like to purchase a caravan together with your contact details
