If you have visited us before, you may notice that some things are a little different but making sure our guests and colleagues are safe remains our priority.
To confirm a booking with us we ask for a non refundable deposit of £50 for stays in our accommodation and £30 for a pitch on our camping area
Within a week before your stay with us you will receive a welcome email in which we ask all guests to pay their balance before they arrive by the secure link which you will find in the welcome email or you can pay by card over the telephone.
If you are staying in one of our caravans or lodges your accommodation will be ready from 4pm onwards. On arrival please collect your key from reception. If you are arriving later than 4.30 please let us know so we can arrange key collection
If you have a pitch booked on our camping area your pitch will be available from midday onwards
All our accommodation are furnished with bedding - you will just need to bring your own linen - covers, pillows, pillowcases, sheets and towels. Our 6 berth caravans have a standard double bed, two single beds and pull-out sofa double bed. Our 8 berths caravans & lodges are the same but with two extra single beds
We also ask you to vacate your accommodation NO LATER THAN 10.30AM on your departure date or 11am if you are on a camping pitch. Please leave windows open in your accommodation for ventilation (weather permitting).

By making a booking with us you agree to our camping T&C’s on our website.
Please pay your balance 7 days before arriving. There is no minimum stay even during bank holidays or high season. You can check availability choose your pitch and book online via our website whether it is for a Motorhome, Campervan, Tent or Touring caravan. A £30 non-refundable deposit is required when booking and you are welcome to arrive on your pitch from midday onwards. Please make a note of your pitch number especially if you are intending to arrive late as reception may not be open.
Touring & Camping booking information
By making a booking with us you agree to our camping T&C’s. Please pay your balance 7 days before arriving. There is no minimum stay even during bank holidays or high season.
We do NOT charge for Electric, Dogs, Trailers, Gazebo’s, Awnings, Showers, Extra People , BBQ’s Extra Cars, Pup Tents or Wind Breakers
We don’t like rules any more than you do but find it necessary to ensure we are all happy - please see below the essential camping nitty gritty...
Important info to know… please be aware that our camping area is not big & know the size’s of our pitches before making a booking to ensure your tent will fit & you are happy that you have enough space. Our tent pitches are all 8m wide x 5m deep
We ask for a non-refundable deposit of £30 per booking and the balance to be paid 7 days before your arrival. Please pay the balance on time to avoid disappointment. No refunds can be made if you have paid the balance in full. If the booking is made less than 7 days away from when you arrive, the full amount is payable when making the booking
Should you need to change the dates of your booking, you can do so up to 2 weeks before your arrival to another date within the same season. Sorry, we are unable to alter booking dates with less than 2 weeks notice.
Your pitch will be available from midday and please depart no later than 11am
Regrettably making a booking will not guarantee you your favourite pitch
Sorry, but no refunds can be made if guests depart early prior to the end of their booked stay for any reason, including poor weather if we have not heard from you by 9am the day after following your expected
Please check in at reception on arrival, even if you have been before
Dogs are welcome but please keep them on a lead at all times & clean up after them
Please respect your neighbours by keeping noise down to a minimum between 10pm - 8am
The ground is particularly hard & we recommend using strong tent pegs & a decent mallet! BBQ’s are permitted but must be off the ground. Blocks are available outside the shop - no open fires please
Clothes lines are not permitted as they can be dangerous especially after dark Please call us to make group bookings for parties under the age of 18
Breathable ground sheets are welcome to preserve the grass

The Lookout Tower
Booking information
Bookings are available for Friday to Friday - Monday to Friday - Friday to Monday in 2023 and 2024.
A £500 deposit is required at the time of booking, the remaining balance should then be received by us not later than 4 weeks before the start of the holiday. Reservations made within four weeks of the start of the rental period require full payment at the time of booking. By making a booking with us you agree to our T&C’s.
BOOKING DETAILS
The Lookout Tower is designed to accommodate four but must not exceed six people
A £500 deposit is required at the time of booking, the remaining balance should then be received by us not later than 4 weeks before the start of the holiday. Reservations made within four weeks of the start of the rental period require full payment at the time of booking
INSURANCE
All our guests are strongly recommended to arrange a comprehensive travel insurance policy (including cancellation & covid cover) and to have full cover for the party’s personal belongings, public liability, accidents, civil liability, and damage etc.
CANCELLATION
In the event of cancellation on the part of the guest, refunds of the balance will be made if we are able to re-let the property and any expenses or losses incurred in so doing will be deducted from the refundable amount. Please note your £500 deposit is non-refundable
If we are forced by unforeseen circumstances to cancel a reservation, you will be refunded in full
ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE TIMES
Check in is any time after 3pm on the day of your arrival, we can text you if it is available earlier. Please vacate the property no later than 10am on the day of departure
GUEST RESPONSIBILITY
We endeavour to maintain a high standard of cleanliness and comfort at all times. If you could please leave The Lookout Tower as you found it, that would be much appreciated
The Lookout Tower is strictly NON-SMOKING and PET FREE
We understand accidents happen so please notify us of any breakages/damage as soon as possible so that a replacement can be found for the next guests
We reserve the right to enter the property at any time should the need arise and carry out general maintenance duties
Use of the sauna is solely at the responsibility of the user – please see further guidelines at the premises
Use of electric bikes that may be provided is also solely at the responsibility of the user
PARKING
There is ample parking outside The Lookout Tower and extra parking / space is available if required
All vehicles are left at the owner’s risk
SERVICES
All services i.e., Electric, Water and WIFI are included within the price
FURTHER INFORMATION
Tourist information brochures, leaflets and guidebooks are available at the Lookout Tower together with a guest welcome manual containing all the local information, emergency contact numbers and instructions you should need
